ergo-safe evaluates security concepts with Sistema
We evaluate the safety-related components of your machine controls according to DIN EN ISO 13849 with SISTEMA.
SISTEMA is a manufacturer-independent calculation tool from the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Statutory Accident Insurance (IFA).
The tool enables users to model the structure and architecture of safety-related control components in accordance with machine guidelines and offers an automated calculation of the reliability values including the performance level (PL) achieved.
ePaper (eINK) display
ePaper displays reflect the light like normal paper. Texts or images are displayed permanently without the need for a float voltage.
ergo-safe simplifies document management
Finally, the mountain of paper will soon come to an end! The new machine ordinance makes it possible to provide electronic instructions for the machine. However, the framework conditions for the use of electronic instructions are not easy to meet. The end user must have access to the manual at all times. This means that the manual can be used offline and must be available for download.
Ergo-safe offers a special end device for this purpose. The greenManual © does not consume any electricity when displaying content. Electricity is only used when browsing. It therefore only needs to be charged very rarely.
In standby mode, the display can automatically show safety-related content and does not consume any electricity.
The greenManual © is able to store over 200 GB of data. The memory is sufficient for many extensive operating instructions, circuit diagrams, spare parts lists and hundreds of supplier documents. Thanks to the WLAN function, all content can be updated anywhere in the world at any time.

1-day seminar
The safety of electrical products must be guaranteed. To ensure this, test marks such as VDE, SEV, UL, CSA etc. have been created. The CE marking has established itself in mechanical engineering. International standards are supposed to ensure safety here. The CE mark can be assigned at your own risk. As a rule, compliance with the standards is not checked. Therefore, the CE mark may only be attached to the product if the standard specifications have been precisely adhered to. In our training you will learn everything that is necessary to meet these requirements, such as:

Control system malfunctions can cause serious accidents. SISTEMA calculates the reliability of safety-related controls in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN ISO 13849.
First, the “required performance level (PLr)” is determined. SISTEMA then checks all safety-related sub-areas of the control concept using circuit diagram information. SISTEMA reproduces the structure of these sub-areas and calculates the reliability values. At the end, SISTEMA outputs the performance level (PL) actually achieved as a report.
